Our people come from diverse backgrounds and together we have years of experience in small and large businesses. We understand business operations inside out and have practical knowledge of software development and implementation. We believe this genuine insight makes us different and uniquely qualified to support your business.

People & culture

We share a common desire to make the workplace environment fun. We believe life is about more than just work. Being family-friendly, compassionate and understanding is vital to our culture. It’s also why we support the North London Action for the Homeless, and through KIVA,  many small businesses in the Philippines.

Process & skills

We have strong internal processes that underpin our way of thinking. We effectively manage and track projects using state of the art project and development management software. We actively train and mentor each other – every person has corporate and personal goals to achieve each year.

We have a team of in-house designers who ensure that our programs meet the specific needs of your users.

We have a growing number of developers using .net, C++, C#, Unity 3D and Xamarin. Our developers are supported by project managers and a team of dedicated testers. All development is managed using an agile scrum process, led by our qualified Scrum Masters and Product Owners.

Our strong relationship with our hosting partner, Rackspace, allows us to provide a hosting solution that can be tailored to fit your needs and budget.

We offer first, second, and third line support. If needed, our helpdesk can be available 24/7. Our support team can also provide training, reporting, and triaging as required.

Paul Ross

Having spent most of my career in international business, I have been fortunate enough to visit many interesting places, to experience a multitude of cultures, and to meet many individuals at all levels of business.

Having been a board member of both private and multinational Fortune 200 companies, it is clear that people are at the heart of any business. Throughout my career I have acted as a mentor and strategic friend and take great pleasure in helping folks wherever possible.

Outside work I enjoy being with family, travelling, and the countryside. In addition I am currently the Chair of Governors at a local school, where one of the former pupils was Sir Isaac Newton.

I have been with Apex for 10 years utilising my organisational skills to develop and maintain project management and delivery systems that ensure we deliver quality projects on time and on budget.

I have recently been involved with the transformation of our project management systems to Agile/Scrum methodologies which has resulted in many benefits to our partners.  I have a keen interest in consistently driving improvements in systems to ensure we are getting the best possible results.
